RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing in New Hampshire

A 2012 joint statement from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and the National League for Nursing, states an expectation for schools and hospitals to promote nursing education, by supporting RNs efforts to pursue BSNs.

Enrolling in RN to BSN Programs in New Hampshire

RN to BSN programs in New Hampshire are designed to complement an RN’s previous ADN education, providing them complementary courses in as little as 16 months. New Hampshire RNs who would like to enroll in RN to BSN programs should meet the following admissions criteria:

  • Hold an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an Accredited Program
  • Hold an Active, Unencumbered RN License in New Hampshire

Different schools will require different GPA standards, anywhere from 2.0 to 3.0 throughout the RN’s ADN program.

Obtaining a BSN is the foundation to moving onto higher-level nursing education, such as the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Although GPA requirements differ among schools, many New Hampshire MSN programs require the following, basic admissions criteria:

  • Hold a 2.8 GPA or Higher in BSN Program
